Moving to Hollister 26 years ago with husband Jerry and children, David and Wendy, I settled at new job for Title Insurance and Trust (now Chicago Title) as the Escrow Manager. Worked for Ticor (the in-between name) in Hollister for 8 years and transferred back up to San Jose for 3 years before opening my own escrow company in Hollister in 1986 on San Benito Street. Family committments encouraged me to close the company after twelve years and go work at one of the local title companies doing escrow for another 1.5 years. David encouraged me to go back into business for myself by becoming his partner to sell real estate. I have now been selling since the end of 1999 and truly enjoy the other side of real estate by helping individuals find their dream home or investment property.Sherry.
